THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The last date for submitting application Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance Examination (KEAM) has been extended to March 9, to enable candidates to add pharmacy courses in their online applications.
B Pharm and Pharm D courses are made KEAM. Paper-1 (Physics & Chemistry) of the engineering entrance examination will be the basis for rank list of these courses. Kerala engineering/pharmacy entrance examination will be held on April 24 and 25.
This extension of deadline for application submission can be utilized by candidates who have not applied so far, and those who just want to add the pharmacy courses to their respective online applications, according to the office of the commissioner for entrance examinations.
There is no state level entrance examination for MBBS, BDS, ayurveda, homoeopathy, siddha, unani, agriculture, veterinary, fisheries and forestry courses. Admissions to these courses will be based on NEET(UG) 2017 conducted by the CBSE. Information on the online application system to apply for NEET(UG)-2017 is available in the website cbseneet.nic.in, and the official websites of the CBSE.
Candidates desirous of seeking admission to architecture courses must qualify the national aptitude test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. For more details, visit the NATA website (nata.in).
As the preparation for the rank lists and the conduct of centralized allotment process (CAP) for engineering, pharmacy, architecture, MBBS, BDS, ayurveda, homoeopathy, siddha, unani, agriculture, veterinary, fisheries and forestry courses are entrusted to the commissioner for entrance examinations (CEE) as part of KEAM-2017, candidates seeking admission to these courses in Kerala must apply for KEAM-2017 through the online application system provided in the official website of the CEE (https:\\www.cee.kerala.gov.in) in addition to applying for and attending the respective entrance examinations.
